Psalm‬ ‭121‬
A Song of Ascents
“I lift up my eyes to the hills. From where does my help come? My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth. He will not let your foot be moved; he who keeps
you will not slumber. Behold, he who keeps Israel will neither slumber nor sleep. The Lord is your keeper; the Lord is your shade on your right hand. The sun shall not strike you by day, nor the moon by night. The Lord will keep you from all evil; he will keep your life. The Lord will keep your going out and your coming in from this time forth and forevermore.”

B&W because today I only see through a glass darkly.

We prayed for deliverance in this life, but God let him fly free. Angels dance at his homecoming.

I’m pretty upset that I don’t understand the mystery, but I know that fully exposed to His Presence, everything is illuminated.

This morning, for Michael, all mystery has been removed, and for the first time, he is fully alive to the depth and width and breadth of the Father’s love, understanding, and glory.

Although the earth groans with loss today, no grief or regret followed him to Jesus.

There is so much I could say about the times spent with Jesus talking about Ev, (as his family and friends know him) but all that feels appropriate now is silent grief.

I didn’t know Michael, but I grieve the loss of a brother, son, and friend on behalf of those who did. May you experience the greatest portion of comfort the Holy Spirit brings. ❤️

Note: 1. For those wondering, Michael fought an infection in his lungs for a month before he went with Jesus.
2. If anyone would like to send love and comfort to the family, I will give you an address.

“Rejoice with those who rejoice; mourn with those who mourn.” Romans‬ ‭12‬:‭15‬ NIV

“…A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;” Ecclesiastes‬ ‭3‬:‭4‬ ESV

“Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.” Matthew‬ ‭5‬:‭4‬
